MEET THE MAKER

MY SILVERSMITHING STORY…

I’ve always loved making things, but jewellery has been my true passion. From childhood beads to working now with precious metals, sea glass, and vibrant gemstones, creating beautiful pieces has always brought me great joy.

There’s something incredibly special about seeing a design I’ve handmade being chosen as a gift or when someone is giving themselves a well-deserved treat.  Knowing that my work becomes part of a heartfelt moment — a celebration, a surprise, a memory. The sentiment behind each piece is just as precious as the materials I use.

Every item I make is wonderfully unique, individually crafted with love.

Living and working in beautiful Bossiney, near Tintagel in North Cornwall really allows me to take inspiration from everything around.

RECYCLED SILVER, REUSED LOST GLASS....

While enjoying family time at the beach with our dog, Tegen, I found myself gathering a lovely collection of sea glass on our walks.

HAND PICKED SEA GLASS CREATED BY THE WAVES

Once discarded and broken, these forgotten pieces of glass are carried out to sea, where they are transformed over many years. Tumbled by the waves, they return as smooth, frosted gems in an array of beautiful shades. They pair perfectly with silver, creating jewellery that is truly unique and full of character.

I never cut or shape the sea glass — every piece is exactly as the ocean has crafted it. My sea glass jewellery is formed purely by the waves.

From there, the ideas began to grow… not just jewellery inspired by the Cornish coastline, but by the wonderful memories we make beside it. Alongside creating with sea glass, I also love choosing gemstones that capture that same uplifting, coastal feeling.

ECO SPARKLY

My goal is to craft jewellery as responsibly as possible, choosing sustainable materials from ethical and fair-trade suppliers wherever I can — from my bullion silver and gemstones to the packaging that holds each finished piece.

I’m constantly learning new eco-friendly techniques and seeking out sustainable materials. One of my favourites is the accredited recycled silver I use - made entirely from reclaimed silver sourced from various industries and their waste. It’s just as bright, just as beautiful, and every bit the same quality… only far kinder to the planet.

When you choose to buy directly from the maker (that’s me!), you’re saying no to fast fashion, supporting a small independent business, and owning a unique, handcrafted little treasure. Yay! Thank you so much for being here and supporting what I love to do.
